An article from Best Colleges, stated that 20-50% of students start college as undeclared majors and about 75% change their majors at least once while pursuing both undergraduate studies. In addition, it is not uncommon for graduate students to switch majors or their areas of research at some point in their pursuit of a professional degree.
Fast forward a few years, after successfully graduating from college and landing that dream job, it can be daunting to know how to plan for success in your new role, where there are no metrics like GPA or number of credit hours to assess one's progress.
At ExcelliSpace, I've developed tools and resources that I have used in my own academic and career journey, that will assist you throughout the deliberation process and set you up for success as you discover your potential.
College Major Decision Review (MDR)
A college major is a major decision that should be aided via tools that provide both a qualitative and quantitative analysis towards what you, the student cares about the most. The MDR allows the student to select their top 5 college major options based on selected self-determined and informed factors for mental and visual processing via an active deduction process.
Professional Development Plan (PDP)
The PDP walks you through and towards an intentionally clarified approach to identify and define both the recommended and self-determined steps as well as activities towards a satisfying career. We will define the 5 major steps in the REDII process that will help you feel excited and ready to develop and pursue a satisfying career.
Online Courses, Workshops and many more...
Recorded online courses that accompany the applicable resources will be available to supplement and provide a guided walkthrough for each template provided. Additional content will be added addressing various areas of interest in academia and early careers over time. A finite set of 1-on-1 virtual meetings or large group workshops will also be available soon.
